Matadi – MCTC welcomed, on Thursday, an important government delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Communication Routes and Opening-Up, Jean-Pierre Bemba, and the Governor of Kongo Central, Grace Bilolo. The main purpose of this official visit was to monitor and assess the progress of the works to modernise the terminals of the Port of Matadi, a major project for national logistics.
This field visit by the highest sectoral and provincial authorities underlines the strategic importance the State places on modernising port infrastructure. It aims to ensure that the works proceed in line with the established schedule and meet international standards, in order to improve the efficiency and fluidity of goods transport in the DRC.
